Once per month, at the beginning of our regular weekly Open Stage, we focus the spotlight on a single performer. By prior invitation, Spotlight artists are given a full 30 minutes to perform allowing them to present a mini-concert of roughly half a dozen songs. This gives the artist an opportunity to display a wider range of their music and to more fully illustrate their musical mission and message.
Spotlight performances take place at 7:00 pm on the last Monday of each month in our Open Stage home at 91A Fourth Avenue in Ottawa’s Glebe district. The Spotlight performer leads off the evening with a half-hour set followed by our usual all-comers Open Stage format. There is no cover charge to attend and listening audience members are always welcome.
